SMALL BUSINESS ENDORSES DELEGATE BUDDY FOWLER FOR THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES RACE THE 55TH DISTRICT

The National Federation of Independent Business, Virginia’s leading small-business association, has endorsed Delegate Buddy Fowler in the 55th House of Delegates Race.

The endorsement comes from the NFIB/Virginia SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, which is comprised exclusively of NFIB members.

“Delegate Fowler is clearly the best choice for small business owners, their employees and their families,” said Nicole Riley, state director of NFIB/Virginia.

“Delegate Fowler understands the challenges facing the commonwealth’s small businesses, and our members believe he will continue to take a fiscally responsible approach to managing state government and support legislation that helps our small businesses grow and create jobs.”

On receiving the endorsement Delegate Fowler stated, “Small businesses and their owners, are Virginia’s greatest economic engine. The overwhelming majority of Virginians are employed by small business, and small business is where we continue to see the greatest job growth. I know the importance of a favorable business climate. I will continue to work to hold the line on taxes and limit the regulations on Virginia’s small businesses. We must do this to keep Virginia a top state to do business.”

The NFIB/Virginia SAFE Trust’s endorsement is critical to a candidate’s campaign. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB has pledged it will activate its grassroots network on behalf of the campaign. NFIB’s political support is based on the candidates’ positions and records on small business issues.
